About kanna

Kanna is the common name for Sceletium tortuosum, a low-growing succulent plant native to southern Africa, mainly the dry regions of South Africa. The name Kanna comes from the Khoisan people of the region, who traditionally used the dried and fermented plant. Mesembrine is one of the main alkaloids found in the plant, and the figures above come from the product listing.
