Green Hulu Kratom Powder

How green Hulu is made

Green generally describes leaf harvested at mid-maturity, when the vein has gone from pale to green but has not yet turned red. Drying is kept fairly quick and mild, often indoors or under shade with fans, sometimes finished briefly outside, because heat and long exposure push the color toward brown. Without fermentation, the leaf keeps more of its green look. Farms adjust all of this to their own climate and equipment, so the lab report is the better reference than the color word.

The meaning of Hulu

Hulu is Indonesian for "upstream." The name on kratom bags comes from Kapuas Hulu, a regency in West Kalimantan around the headwaters of the Kapuas River, a region often cited as a center of Indonesian kratom farming. Earlier EdengrowS listings used Jongkong, the name of a district within Kapuas Hulu, for related leaf. Our page does not name a grower, so Hulu should be read as a trade name.

The Contains line says 1%–2% mitragynine and less than 0.50% hydroxymitragynine. No scoop is included; we suggest weighing on a milligram scale, e.g. the Digital Scale Lab Set.
