Where the yellow color comes from

No kratom tree grows yellow-veined leaves. The word describes how a lot was handled after harvest, and suppliers do not all mean the same thing by it. Some let green or white leaf dry for longer, or at higher heat, until it takes on a golden tint. Others give the fresh leaf a short rest in bags before drying, and a few simply mix finished powders of different colors. Because there is no shared definition, the useful facts are the color COA linked on this page and the lot number on your bag.

Borneo, the region behind the name

Borneo is a single island governed by three nations. Its Indonesian part, Kalimantan, covers most of the land and supplies much of the kratom leaf that reaches overseas buyers, from wild trees and smallholder plots along the rivers. A Borneo label points to that broad area. We do not name a farm on this listing, so read Borneo as a market name, not a guarantee of where a lot was grown.

Sizes and the Contains line

Sizes run from a 1 oz bag through 4 oz, 1 lb and 2.2 lb (1 kg) to a 25 kg box; tap a size above for the price, which is identical across Borneo colors. The Contains line printed on the label gives 1%–2% mitragynine and less than 0.50% hydroxymitragynine.
