How yellow Maeng Da is made

There is no yellow-veined kratom tree. Yellow is a processing name, and producers describe a few different routes to it: drying white or green leaf for longer or at warmer temperatures, giving the fresh leaf a short fermentation before it dries, or blending vein colors after drying. No industry body defines the term, so the method can change from one supplier to the next. What you can check is the lab report for the color, linked below, and the lot printed on your bag. What Maeng Da means

Maeng Da is borrowed from Thai, where it loosely means "pimp grade," a boast a seller makes about a prized lot. It is a quality label, not a map reference. Thailand curbed kratom planting for decades and Indonesia became the main source, so the leaf sold under this name today is usually Indonesian, often from Kalimantan or Sumatra. Indonesia also supplies most of the kratom sold in the United States. Read Maeng Da as a market name, not a guaranteed origin.
